Swede (Per Piece)

A Swede is a root vegetable known as rutabaga in North America or neep in Scotland. The scientific name for this vegetable is Brassica napus subsp rapifera. Swedes are round, bulbous vegetables with purple or yellowish skin and pale yellow flesh. They have a slightly sweet and earthy flavour, and they are commonly used in soups, stews, roasted dishes, or as a mash.
